Top-shelf jazz musicThree of Denmark's leading jazz musicians team up with one of the most interesting American guitarists, Peter Bernstein.The group toured for three weeks in Scandinavia during August 2019 and will be continuing their success with a summer tour and an exclusive concert at Aarhus Jazz Festival's Summer Jazz 2020.Since the early 90s, Peter Bernstein has been part of the absolute jazz elite. He has proven himself through his duo collaboration with pianist Brad Mehldau, as well as in his own trio, which includes organist Larry Goldings and drummer Bill Stewart.In this quartet, Bernstein is flanked by three Danish jazz acts, who also started their careers in the mid-90s. They have all left their mark on the world of jazz, including on tours with Joe Lovano, Jimmy Cobb, Tim Hagans, Enrico Rava, Jerry Bergonzi, Stefano Bollani, Steve Swallow, Victor Lewis, and Tom Harrell.They each recorded for legendary record companies such as ECM, Blue Note, and Savant Records. And received grammys in Norway, Canada, Ital,y and Denmark.In other words, this evening show at Helsingør Theater will feature an explosive musical meeting with jazz music from the top shelf.Event informationThe concerts in Helsingør Theater, The Old Town, are performed according to the regulations of the authorities and with a distance between the audience.
